A cup of tea, a cup of coffee and a cup of chocolate soufflé. I must be surrounded with my essentials while writing! I love to write down my thoughts and believes. YOU MUST LOVE WHAT YOU ARE DOING. This does not count for writing only. It counts on every field and on every activity. I like to share fashion, lifestyle and the intricate beauty, because I have a love for fashion, lifestyle and the beauty of the things around me.
For this post I wore a vintage, romantic shirt and a vintage sophisticated watch. I am in love with vintage clothing and accessories as it is something else than the clothing you see when you look around. I mean, why should you try to fit in with clothing everybody wears? It is good to discover new pieces in your grandmothers closet :-). Editor in chief of the Vogue magazine, Anna Wintour, describes this phenomenon perfectly. “Why fit in when you were born to stand out”. I do not like skinny jeans and that is why I do not wear them. Maybe in the feature my taste will change and reshape and I will become a skinny jeans lover. For now, I am more in love with the 60’s and 70’s style. For me this season is all about the A-line skirt, flowered top and block heel.
I like to combine the special vintage pieces with something more simple and up-to-date. That is why I combined the top with a simple skirt. The skirt is from Zara. This clothing company has very quick rotation in the collections. I love the fact that the pieces from the fashion shows are in the Zara shops a few weeks later. Of course, the clothing is a bit different, but the style remains. The shoes are from Sam Edelman. It is a classic, basic, 60’s style shoes. I believe that the basic shoe is the best shoe.
While writing I have finished my 0.75 litre cup of tea with some delicious home baked sweets. It is important to stay hydrated when the temperature does not drop below 30°C. And of course it is important to enjoy life with good food! EAT what you LOVE, DO what you LOVE.
